Everyone’s favourite secretive organisation, the US’s NSA (National Security Agency), has declassified an internal magazine called Cryptolog: The Journal of Technical Health. Of course certain names and other sensitive articles have been removed, but most of the journals remain intact.
Declassified back issues from August 1974 to Summer 1997 are available on the NSA website; they include book reviews, operational procedures and analysis of the security of many technologies. Enjoy picking through the 136 volumes currently available. [theverge]
