Samsung Galaxy S4 Eye-Tracking

A couple of weeks ago we posted about the new Samsung Galaxy’s leaked feature, an Eye-Tracking system. This was confirmed yesterday when the Galaxy S4 was officially announced by Samsung. Not only does it sense when to scroll up or down pages, but also using “Smart pause” it automatically pauses video playback when the user looks away from the screen.

Another interesting feature of the S4 is its dual camera, using both the front and rear cameras it simultaneously blends pictures together to make sure the photographer isn’t left out.

Other features include a 13 megapixel camera and Samsung’s HD AMOLED display technology, providing a density of 441 pixels-per-inch. The handset only weighs 130g and is a measly 7.9mm thick making it lighter and thinner than the S3. [bbc]
