Samsung’s next new smart phone, the Galaxy S IV, will be introduced this month and is said to have a special new feature. It has the ability to track the user’s eye movement to determine where to scroll. When the user’s eye reaches the bottom of the page while reading an article the page will automatically scroll down to reveal the next paragraph.
Although this was leaked by an anonymous Samsung employee who was not authorized to speak to the media; we know this could be the real deal as in January, Samsung filed for a trademark in Europe for the name “Eye Scroll”. Samsung also filed for the trademark “Eye pause” without mentioning what it does. Does anyone have any ideas?
This could be quite a neat feature to have on a phone but on the other hand this will make the lazy even lazier by allowing them to not even have to lift a finger when reading their Facebook status update. [bits]
