The Chromebook’s operating system: Chrome OS, has proven to be too hard to hack at Pwnium 3, the competition set up by Google to find security flaws in its products. Not a single attempt to compromise the OS was successful even though Google was offering a total of $3.14159 million (yes that is pi) in prizes.
There’s little doubt that flaws in the code must still exist, after all, nothing’s perfect. Chromebook Pixel owners can rest easy though as their systems appear to be pretty secure. [geek]
