Samsung’s new flagship phone will be revealed on March 14th. The South Korean tech-giant confirmed the event at MWC in Barcelona, the venue is NYC rather that London due to pressure from American mobile carriers.
Clearly details surrounding the new handset are lacking, it will definitely ‘push the boundaries’, as all Samsung Galaxy S phones have done. Whether it will feature a flexible display or not is also unknown. Samsung have been developing the technology to produce Star Trek worthy displays for some time now.
Rumors include an eight-core Exynos processor with a separate eight-core graphics chip, 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear camera. It will certainly run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. This is one of the most anticipated devices of 2013, hopefully we won’t be disappointed. [cnet]
