It’s now even easier to find great software and other content for your Raspberry Pi. The foundation have announced the launch of the Pi Store. Anyone can add content, making it a great platform for young developers. At the moment most of the content is free but paid-for content will likely be available soon.
This seems like a great idea, allowing developers an easy and simple way to advertise their work and even earn some money. It will no doubt be a great incentive to create exciting new content for young developers who needed some motivation. You don’t have to just be a programmer; the store also supports audio and video, making it very accessible. I have a feeling that this could really take-off, hopefully there are enough talented and creative people out-there to enhance the Raspberry Pi experience even more. [raspberrypi]
