The Pi Store is Live!

It’s now even easier to find great software and other content for your Raspberry Pi.  The foundation have announced the launch of the Pi Store.  Anyone can add content, making it a great platform for young developers.  At the moment most of the content is free but paid-for content will likely be available soon.

This seems like a great idea, allowing developers an easy and simple way to advertise their work and even earn some money.  It will no doubt be a great incentive to create exciting new content for young developers who needed some motivation.  You don’t have to just be a programmer; the store also supports audio and video, making it very accessible.  I have a feeling that this could really take-off, hopefully there are enough talented and creative people out-there to enhance the Raspberry Pi experience even more.
